"I was travelling through Baden-Württemberg on a bus, when all of a sudden I realised that the forests had been created artificially. My first impression was that everything was artificial in Germany, even tampered with nature. But this impression turned out to be wrong. The Germans attach great importance to leaving the natural world undisturbed."
